My reviews:
The movie have good stuns and drifts scenes. it's a nice movie to watch if you don't take it all seriously; as in, just watch it, don't follow anything that they do in the movies. it's a 18SG movie anyway, that "warning" explains quite a lot already. the best quote that really made me think was when Han said "That's life. You make chocies and don't turn back"
I have not seen the previest 2 movies, so i can't tell you if this movie is better than the perviest 2 movies.
In my conclusion of the movie, "The winner always get the girl!"

I watched the movie on : 16 June 2006
My Reviews:
If I were to rate the movie RV, it would only be a C+. It's quite funny, but I certainly think there should be more improvement. I guess this movie did not have anything much for me to comment except that there are only a few parts that is funny about the movie.

Plot Summary & Review:
the story is about this cocky, rookie race car, Lightning McQueen and he has the big big huge competition to compete with 2 other racing cars at California, On route across the country to the big Piston Cup Championship in California to compete against two seasoned pros, he somehow ended up unexpectedly detoured and crashing into the sleepy Route 66 town of Radiator Springs which was abandon for a long long time, destroying lots of the inhabitants belongings. In order to make up for what he did, the cocky roadster is sentenced to community service by Doc Hudson. Though he will do anything to get away from the work, McQueen must learn to respect and bond with the Radiator Springs inhabitants in order to get out of the town and back on the racetracks. There he discovers that life is about the journey, not the finish line!!! at first he only cared about the competition, but then, when McQueen gets to know the town's offbeat characters Âincluding Sally (a snazzy 2002 Porsche voiced by Bonnie Hunt), Doc Hudson (a 1951 Hudson Hornet with a mysterious past, voiced by Paul Newman), and Mater (a rusty but trusty tow truck voiced by Larry the Cable Guy) Â who help him realize that there are more important things than trophies, fame and sponsorship. The ending part of the movie was pretty touching when McQueen rather not win the Piston Cup but did a very noble thing by helped The King finish his race after he overturn.
"Kecheng" *flashes spotlight at you* this is not just some kiddy kiddy movie(although i watched it with 80% of the cinema filled with 18 and below kids). it's a bomb i tell you. there are values in the movie that you can discover such as how important friends are in your life, realizing the beauty of life and etc. it's really a good movie worth watching. anyway.. you should take notice of the soundtrack "find yourself" by Brad Paisley in the movie. it's a very nice song. that song really made me think about my life. In conclusion, I love the movie and the soundtracks. If compared to Over The Hedge, i would say that Cars, The Movie has more good values which sometimes really make me think back what i really want in life, fame or friends. Wherelse, Over the Hedge is much more of a funny movie that makes you laugh, but not as much good points you an learn after watching the movie.
Characters:
Lightining McQueen
a hotshot rockie racecar, posised to become the youngest car ever to win the Piston Cup Championship. He has just two things in mind: winning and the perks that come with it. Fame, money, groupies, helicopters... It's everything he's dreamed of, but that's about to change. When McQueen gets lost in the forgotten town of Radiator Springs, he's introduced to a group of new friends that challenged him to reconsider the car he wants to be.

RJ: Yes, Hammy.
Hammy the Squirrel: Rabbits are all cute and cuddly soo..
RJ: RABID, not rabbit.
Hammy the Squirrel: Ohhh... huh?

RJ: No, Hammy, not the cookie. I told you that cookie was junk!
Hammy the Squirrel: But I like the cookie.
--
RJ: That is an S.U.V. humans ride in them because they are slowly loosing their ability to walk.
Lew the Porcupine: Wow it's huge!
Hammy the Squirrel: How many people fit in there?
RJ: Usually,..one.
--
Hammy the Squirrel: Wanna help me find my nuts?
RJ: Very tempting, Hammy, very tempting..

Dwayne: [after shooting the head off a plastic flamingo] Arrrgh! Not again! Those things are so lifelike! Curse you, plastic moldsmen.
--
Hammy the Squirrel: I am a crazy, rabid squirrel! I want my cookies!
--
Ozzie: Mother, is that you? Beckoning me into the light? Must... move... toward... the light!
--
RJ: [Lays down some Monopoly play pieces] Okay, this is us.
Hammy the Squirrel: Can I be the car?
Bucky: I wanna be the car!
Spike: I'm the car. You be the shoe.
Bucky: The shoe is lame.
Lou: Why don't you be that snazzy-looking iron there?
RJ: Hey! It's not important. Besides, I'm the car. I'm always the car.
--
Ozzie: I thought you were dead.
Heather: I learned from the best.
Ozzie: That's my girl.
--
Dwayne: I believe someone phoned about an animal problem? The solution is standing before you. Dwayne LaFontaine is here.
Gladys: Where have you been? I am throwing a Welcome to the Neighborhood party tomorrow, and so far, Debbie's car has killed more animals than you have.
Dwayne: Stand down, sister. I personally guaranty that there won't be a living thing at this party. The Verminator is on the job.
--
Verne: I thought we'd be dead by step two, so this is going great.
--
Hammy the Squirrel: [Runs to one end of the hedge] It never ends! [Runs to the other end and back]

RJ: They ALWAYS got food with them. We eat to live - these guys live to eat! Let me show you what I'm talking about! The human mouth is called a 'piehole', the human being is called a 'couch potato'. THAT is a device to summon food. That is one of the many voices of food. THAT is the portal for the passing of food. THAT is one of the many food transportation vehicles. Humans bring the food, take the food, ship the food, they DRIVE food, they WEAR the food! THAT gets the food hot! THAT keeps the food cold! That, I'm not sure what that is. Well, what do you know? FOOD! THAT is the altar where they WORSHIP food! That's what they eat when they've eaten TOO MUCH food! THAT gets rid of the guilt so they can eat MORE FOOD! FOOD! FOOD! FOOD! FOOD! FOOOOOD! So, you think they have enough? Well, they don't. For humans, enough is NEVER enough! And what do they do with the stuff they don't eat? They put it in gleaming silver cans, just for us! Dig in!

Plot Summary & Review:
Just whose backyard is it, anyway?
Spring has sprung, and Verne and his woodland friends awaken from their long winter's nap to discover that a tall, green "thing" has mysteriously cropped up right through the middle of their home. Enter RJ, an opportunistic raccoon, who explains that the world beyond the hedge is the "gateway to the good life" where peculiar creatures called humans live to eat, rather than eat to live.Suspicious and even a little jealous of RJ, the ever-cautious Verne wants to keep his blended family safely on their side of the hedge. But, proving the adage that one man's garbage is another man's—or rather animal's—treasure, the manipulative RJ tries to convince the woodland band that there is little to fear and everything to gain from their over-indulgent new neighbors. Eventually, RJ and Verne form an unlikely friendship as they learn to co-exist with—and even exploit—this strange new world called suburbia.
