Paris, je t'aime

This movie shows beautiful scenes of different views, perspective and stands of love.

There were many heart worming short stories in the movie but the one that touched me the most was
'Faubourg Saint-Denis'.

The scene began with a blind guy typing on his keyboard and the the phone rang. He picked up the call and on the other side of the line was his girlfriend.

She said:
Listen. Listen. There are times when life calls out for a change. A transition. Like the seasons. Our spring was wonderful, but summer is over now and we missed out on autumn. And now all of a sudden, it's cold, so cold that everything is freezing over. Our love fell asleep, and the snow took it by surprise. But if you fall asleep in the snow, you don't feel death coming. Take care.

At that point, he slam down the phone. His mind began to rewind, thinking back of the time where he first met his girlfriend; she was rehearsing for a theater act, and how their relationship wonderfully blossomed... it was beautiful.

Finally, the camera came back to the beginning of where he was sitting - in front of the computer, the phone rang again. He picked it up, it was his girlfriend.

She asked what happened to him and what did he think of the short sonnet she made up for her next sketch. His mind wondered off, he 'sees' her in his mind.
He is in total obvious of how much he loved her and how his world would tumble down without her as he thought that the previous 'sonnet' was made up, to break up with him. The scene goes back to him answering the call.

His girlfriend:
Hello? Are you listening to me?
Him:
No, I see you.

The end.

Honestly, I nearly cried.

Tentang Cinta

The movie was realistic enough to touch my heart, I could somehow relate to it. It's somehow relevant to what love is, or at least, what I think love is.

Love their soundtrack. Especially the song 'Love so free' and 'Tentang Cinta' by Ipang.

ia masih memahami.
